I have a love affair with French children's clothing and accessories. I believe that babies should be dressed as dignified as possible. This is why I love baby's and children's clothing that is beautifully subtle and well-made. Small, exquisite detailing on an already demure little piece of clothing is the icing on the cake. The French seem to do so well with this.

I love the French baby store called BonTon. There is so much goodness going on over there that it overwhelms me with delight. I am currently enjoying everything in the store. It was hard to pick a few items to highlight. I wanted to show you some of the clothing, but I also couldn't leave out the lovely wooden furniture.

How did I not see this dress in the Steven Alan sale section until now? I love the fabric and the comfiness of the design. Unfortunately the only size left is P. Hmm. I don't know if that would fit me. Anybody know something about Steven Alan sizing? I hear that it runs small. I normally wear a size 4 or 6. But the dress seems pretty lose fitting, so I might go for it.
