See that baby bump? We are expecting our first child mid-October, and this me at 18 weeks. I was pretty nauseated and tired during the first trimester and now I'm feeling much better.
Pregnancy is an incredible journey of giving up control and having faith that everything will turn out okay. I think that it has changed Ryan and me forever, for the better. We are very happy about becoming parents, and I so much look forward to what is in store for us. I've had a strong desire to be a mom since I was wee one myself. If you've followed this blog, you've noticed that I started nesting for a baby even before I was pregnant. I started knitting for this little one soon after we were married, and now I'm glad that I already have a little collection going. I'm currently working on a few more things that I will share here when I'm finished.
It has been challenging to keep up with production for Willaby while I've felt like taking a nap every three hours, but luckily I've somehow been able to do it....and, as a result, Willaby continues to grow. And thankfully, my production has returned to almost normal since I've entered the second trimester. I am still selling my line at the beehive and will be entering another Georgia boutique soon. (Details forthcoming.) If you live in the Rhode Island area, you can also find my reversible sun hats at a lovely shop called Muse. And of course, you can still find me on Etsy, where I will be doing a summer shop update in a couple of weeks.
